Biden pledges U.S. support for Israel, warns Jewish State’s foes that the ‘world is watching’

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – President Biden on Saturday reaffirmed America’s commitment to Israel as the Jewish State came under attack by Hamas.

Washington Times reported Biden said there is “never a justification for terrorist attacks.”

Mr. Biden, whose world leadership and Middle East policy are being put to the test by a war break out, said that he has directed his National Security team to engage with their Israeli counterparts “military to military intelligence, diplomat to diplomat, to make sure Israel has what it needs.”

“Israel has the right to defend itself and its people full stop,” Mr. Biden said. “In my administration, the support for Israel‘s security is rock solid and unwavering.”

Biden added: “Let me say this as clearly as I can: This is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks to seek advantage. The world is watching.”
