The principle of the University of Religions and Denominations visited World Council of Churches

Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslemin Seyyed Abul-Hassan Nawwab, the principal of the University of Religions and Denominations, visited World Council of Churches in Geneva.

As Religious News Agency (REDNA) reported the visiting took place on July 27 2023.

Meeting with the authorities of World Council of Churches, Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslemin Dr. Seyyed Abul-Hassan Nawwab called on the necessity of interfaith-dialogues, in the fields of education and research, between the University of Religions and Denominations and World Council of Churches.

This is to say the World Council of Churches(WCC) was formally organized in Amsterdam in 1948. The goal of the WCC is to provide a forum to promote tolerance and unite various Christian denominations.

Also, the University of Religions and Denominations is the first specialized university in the field of Religions and Denominations in Iran and a branch of the seminary that aims to achieve knowledge of Religions and Denominations and strive to interact and dialogue with its followers based on common beliefs.

So far, Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslemin Seyyed Abul-Hassan Nawwab, the principal of the University of Religions and Denominations to strengthen the mutual understanding of religions and improve religious coexistence, has made lot of abroad trips.
