King Salman ordered Saudi Arabia to host 1,000 hajj Palestinian pilgrims

RELIGIOUS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – 1000 Palestinian hajj pilgrims will be hosted by Saudi Arabia`s hajj affairs officials in 2023.

Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Hatem Al-Bakri, commended the generous gesture of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims. According to “Asharq Al-awsat” these pilgrims are from the Palestinians` families of martyrs, injured and prisoners to participate in the 2023 Hajj.

The gesture is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP), supervised by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

In remarks to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Sheikh Al-Bakri hailed the Kingdom’s generous support to Palestinians in all fields, especially pilgrims, voicing gratitude for Riyadh’s ongoing efforts to facilitate their performing of the Hajj rituals.
