The Vatican ambassador in Iran: Iranian former presidents meeting with Pope and visiting Vatican, a proud  

RELIGIOUS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – Paying the University of Religions and Denominations a visit, archbishop Andeji Yusovic, the Vatican ambassador in Iran, said the seventy-year communications between Islamic Republic of Iran and Vatican and the comprehensive interactions, based on Islam-and-Christian dialogues, having taken placed will create a safe future for such interactions.

“REDNA (Religious News Agency)” reported the Vatican ambassador in Iran paid the University of Religions and Denominations a visit on Thursday May 25 and made a speech titled “The Vatican and Modern World”, basically meant making a deep brotherly friendships based on unity and improving dialogue and coexistence bridges among people.

Archbishop Andeji Yusovic was accompanied by Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Taskhiri, Dr. Mohammad Masjid Jameei, Dr. Vahid Sohrabi Far and a group of university lecturers and academics.

Referring to the historic meeting of Pope Francis and the great Ayatullah Sistani in the past, archbishop Andeji Yusovic described it as fruitful and memorable.

“Pope met ayatollah in his residing place in Iraq. The meeting held without common formalities but the dialogue was influential and key issues were discussed.” said the archbishop

“The meeting was so useful that Pope sent a letter last year to celebrate the anniversary of that historic dialogue between Islam and Christian.” the Vatican ambassador in Iran added
