Vatican ambassador in Iran/Religious leaders` dialogue leads to close cooperation and understanding

RELIGIOUS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – Meeting with the Vatican ambassador in Iran, the principal of the University of Religions and Denominations said different faiths in the world benefit from inter-faiths` dialogue.

Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslemin Seyyed Abul-Hassan Nawwab called for interaction between religions so that a better society will be built.

Paying the University of Religions and Denominations a visit, archbishop Andeji Yusovic, the Vatican ambassador in Iran, met with and talked to Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslemin Seyyed Abul-Hassan Nawwab.

According to REDNA (Religious News Agency) the principal of the University of Religions and Denominations welcomed the Vatican ambassador and said he had met with Pope Francis, the world Catholic leader, in his recent trip to Vatican and awarded the Pope 70 volumes of books.

“The Pope warmly welcomed us and the award was a complete surprise” said Dr. Nawwab

The principal of the University of Religions and Denominations added different faiths in the world benefit from inter-faiths` dialogue.

Being happy about the University of Religions and Denominations` invitation, the Vatican ambassador in Iran in his part said he has had a close friendship since he met the Pope in Argentina.

Archbishop Andeji Yusovic added his mutual friends and he have discussed interfaiths` dialogue with the Pope.

“I follow Argentina, Latin America and Iran affairs” added Archbishop Andeji

He said he very well know the University of Religions and Denominations thanks to its international activities.

“Being invited by the University of Religions and Denominations has given archbishop Martin and me the golden chance of getting to know the religious academic world, the University of Religions and Denominations values other faiths so regarding the inter faiths dialogue, it is very important to me” the Vatican ambassador said
