Pope in Congo thanked charities for work with the vulnerable

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – Pope Francis, the world Catholic church leader, who is in Congo in a formal trip met representatives from six charities in Kinshasa.

The Pope, as Religion Media Center reported, thanked the charities for their “precious work for the most vulnerable”.

They included organisations working in healthcare, education, and human development for the poor, marginalised and disabled. He said young people needed to see actions that restore dignity rather than people wielding weapons or misusing money.
