The Tibet Dalai Lama: Violence harmful in anywhere in the world

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – The spiritual leader of Tibet, the Dalai Lama, believes violence can be harmful in any country of the world.

As “The Tibet Post” reported the His Holiness in a letter to Nancy Pelosi, the US senate speaker, said:” violence in any form can make no positive contribution to the organization and development of society, whether in the United States or any other country.”

In the letter The Dalai Lama expressed his sympathy for physical attack to Nancy Pelosi`s husband at their residing home in California.

The Dalai Lama prayed for Pelosi`s husband to recover his health.

“Media reports indicate that the intruder, who broke into your residence and assaulted your husband, was asking for you. I trust that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure your safety and security,” His Holiness said.

“I have the greatest respect for the United States and the democratic freedoms that the American people enjoy. However, it is important that freedom is exercised responsibly.

His Holiness ended his letter by offering his prayers and good wishes to Speaker Pelosi and her family.
