Pope arrived in Bahrain

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – Pope Francis as his 39th apostolic journey arrived in Bahrain and was welcomed by Bahrain high rank officials at the Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain’s central city of Awali.
Pope is officially going to visit King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at the Sakhir Royal Palace.
Pope then meet with local authorities, representatives of civil society, and members of the diplomatic corps.
Attending the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue, a conference that will focus on the theme: “East and West for Human Coexistence” is Pope`s next plan in Bahrain.
Pope will make speech at the conference scheduled for 3-4 November, where more than 200 religious leaders from different countries are going to attend.
During the rest of the journey pope is meeting with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, meeting with members of the Muslim Council of Elders, and attending an ecumenical meeting and prayer for peace in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia.
