Pope prays for victims of twin blasts in Somalia

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) –Pope Francis praying for the victims of the twin car blasts in Somalia said God may convert the hearts of the violent.

He said:” “As we celebrate Christ’s victory over evil and death, we pray for the victims of the terrorist attack in Mogadishu which killed more than 100 people, including many children. May God convert the hearts of the violent!”

The twin car blasts in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, on Sturday killed at least 100 people and injured more than 300 others.

The explosion took place outside Somalia’s Education Ministry building.

Al-Shabab terrorist group associated with Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the explosions.
