Israeli forces drop gas from planes on worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

RELIGIONS NEWS AGENCY (REDNA) – Israeli forces drop gas from planes on worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Middle East Monitor reported around 200,000 worshippers attended last Friday night prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, in occupied East Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Videos show Israeli forces dropping gas on the worshippers amid increased military presence, with approximately 3,600 heavily armed police officers.

Israeli forces turned back dozens of elderly worshippers at Qalandia and Bethlehem checkpoints, citing their lack of Israeli permits required to access Jerusalem.
